Ingredients:
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 cup milk
4 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish and set aside.
In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and cocoa powder, stirring to blend.
Add milk and bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Continue boiling for 10–15 minutes, without stirring, until the mixture reaches the soft-ball stage (234–240°F or 112–115°C).
Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla, letting the mixture cool slightly.
Beat the mixture until it becomes thick and loses its gloss.
Pour into the prepared dish and spread evenly. Let the fudge set at room temperature or in the refrigerator. Cut into squares and serve.
