Classic Creamy Fantasy Fudge

Ingredients:

3 cups white sugar
3/4 cup butter
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 (12-ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
1 (7-ounce) jar marshmallow creme
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:

Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan lightly and set aside.
In a large, heavy saucepan over medium heat, mix together the sugar, butter, and evaporated milk. Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly.
Boil for 5 minutes, stirring continuously to avoid burning.
Remove from heat and quickly add the chocolate chips, stirring until they are melted and the mixture is smooth.
Stir in the marshmallow creme, walnuts, and vanilla extract, combining thoroughly.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
Cool at room temperature or refrigerate until set, then cut into squares.
