Classic Crispy Chicken Parmesan Pasta

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup Italian-style bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
Fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into the beaten eggs, and then coat with a mixture of bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.
In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the breaded chicken breasts and cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side.
Spoon marinara sauce over each chicken breast, then sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the chicken is cooked through.
Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
