Oven-Baked German Pancakes with a Puffy Golden Top

Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk (You can replace it with coconut milk, almond milk, or any plant-based milk)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • Powdered sugar, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, optional

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Blend eggs, milk, flour, salt, and sugar in a blender until smooth.
  3. Place butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish and heat in the oven until melted.
  4. Pour the batter into the hot baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until puffed and golden.
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with lemon wedges, if desired.
