Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
2 cups chicken broth
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
8 cups dry bread cubes
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the onion and celery and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in chicken broth, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper, bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer.
Place bread cubes in a large mixing bowl and pour the broth mixture over them. Stir until the bread cubes are evenly coated.
Add the beaten eggs and mix thoroughly until the stuffing mixture holds together.
Form the mixture into 2-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden and crisp on the outside. Serve warm.
