1 small onion, diced

1/2 medium head of cabbage, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
8 oz pasta (linguine or your choice), cooked and drained
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the smoked sausage slices and cook until they begin to brown, about 5 minutes.
Add the diced onion and garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent and fragrant, about 3 minutes.
Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until the cabbage is tender and slightly caramelized, about 10-12 minutes.
Toss in the cooked pasta and gently stir to combine, ensuring the flavors are well mixed.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
